Midwest Teaching & Discipleship Convention

This two-day convention is held each spring. National speakers such as Tony Evans, James McDonald, and Crawford Loritts encourage teachers and disciple-makers in their ministries. Leading ministry authorities from throughout the country facilitate training seminars, workshops, and teaching demos to help teachers become more effective. Major ministry resource organizations share the latest resources and ideas for discipleship ministries with teachers, disciple-makers, and ministry leaders. It is the highlight of the ministry year.

Fall Institute on Creative Teaching & Discipleship

Start the ministry year off right with this one-day conference held at the new Heron Point Convention Center, focused on the annual ministry theme. Teachers and disciplers are given in-depth training by age level. Local and national organizations also share the latest resources and ideas for creative ministry.

Convención Anual de Adiestramiento Congregacional del Medio Oeste

Un programa anual de entrenamiento intensivo enfocando las necesidades específicas de la iglesia hispana. Este evento se conduce cada año en el fin de Octubre. El programa entero se conduce en español. Los pastores y líderes laicos tienen la oportunidad de aprender las Escrituras de una manera clara y poderosa. Además traemos maestras de renombre quienes representan organizaciones muy respetadas por el mundo Cristiano. Vienen de todas partes de los Estados Unidos. Cada taller desde el de pre-escolares a adultos es preparado con la tema del año en mente, para que podamos desarrollar las habilidades y tener un crecimiento espiritual profundo.

Annual Dinner & Silent Auction

In order to keep seminar registration prices at a reasonable level, GCSSA sponsors a fundraising banquet and silent auction each year in November. Those who attend enjoy a delicious dinner while sharing a time of fellowship with believers from other area churches. The silent auction features a variety of unique and valuable items donated by local businesses, Christian organizations, and individuals who support the work of the association.
